The Tower Companies implemented a real-time water monitoring pilot program at a multi-tenant office building in 2015 and blew its goal out of the water (pun intended). Within a year, the team documented total water use reduction of 45% and the project had a payback of less than 6 months.
The case study will feature two different PPL experiments to appeal to users seeking energy conservation measures that are low- or no-cost and/or technologically advanced. The pilot project seeks to inspire the commercial real estate community to strengthen the tenant-landlord relationship to reduce whole building energy use.
