Ronald Abramson is a partner in The Tower Companies, the three-generation, family-owned real estate development company and green building leader in the Washington, DC, area. He is also a shareholder and Board Member of the Washington office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.
Ronald brought the vision of River Creek — the DC area’s first private gated community — to The Tower Companies. Located along the Potomac River in Loudoun County, this multi-award winning development set the standard for luxury, resort-style living.
Ronald focuses his legal practice on corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance, tax planning, business and succession planning, and estate planning. He is a member of the District of Columbia and American Bar Associations.
He is a prominent community leader and philanthropist. Ronald is on the New York University Board of Trustees, where he spearheaded establishment of the NYU-in-DC campus. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Corcoran Gallery of Art Board of Trustees and also serves on the boards of the Washington Airports Task Force, Spoleto Festival USA, Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, DC Jazz Festival, and National Symphony Orchestra.
Ronald earned a BA from New York University and JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a proud grandfather and supporter of the arts who enjoys chamber music and jazz concerts in his spare time.
